Visa  

Visa applicants of Eritrean origin without a national ID, and applicants of Non-Eritrean origin are required to submit the following in order to obtain an entry visa to the State of Eritrea.

1. Passport validity of at least six months
2. A complete visa application form
3. One passport – size photograph (both ears clearly visible) 
4. Itinerary 
5. Deposit slip clearly showing the amount deposited
6. For a Business Visa, an accompanying letter from the sending and receiving companies
7. For an Employment Visa, a verified  copy of the contract of employment 
8. A self addressed prepaid registered  envelope – preferably courier

* Please note if  visa extension is required, it is done only in Asmara .

Process time :  4 – 5 working days.

Visa is issued starting from the date of arrival to Eritrea.
